Massachusetts Area 30 (aaemass.org) is one of two A.A. General Service Areas within Massachusetts, which covers (roughly) the eastern half of the state. Area 30 itself is divided into 27 General Service Districts, as shown below. Each district (or combined district) is represented by a District Committee Member (DCM) who represents local AA groups via their General Service Representative (GSR). The Districts and the Area formally communicate via the DCMs and liaisons with local Intergroups/Central Offices at meetings and at assemblies.
