The WAI Chairperson is responsible for chairing the monthly steering committee and delegates committee meetings. Following a formal agenda and script, the chairperson opens and conducts each committee meeting per Roberts’ Rules (relaxed). The Alternate Chairperson assumes this role in the chairperson's absence.
