The District Committee Member (DCM) serves as a conduit between District 3 and the Area 30 committee and delegate. As a member of the Area 30 committee, the DCM represents District 3’s group conscience to the Area 30 Delegate who, in turn, represents Area 30’s group conscience at the annual General Service Conference.
The GSO pamphlet Your DCM further describes the role and responsibilities of the District Committee Member.
The DCM serves for a term of 2-years and is a district officer, along with the Chairperson, Treasurer and Secretary.
